Working with a food safety research project investigating spatial and temporal relationships of Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Salmonella in feedlot cattle.

SELECTED RESEARCH AND OTHER SCHOLARLY ACTIVITIES Interested in investigating the ecology of enteric food safety pathogens (Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Salmonella) in cattle pre-harvest.

Other area of research interest: Epidemiology of infectious diseases. Currently working on West Nile virus epidemiology in horses - Developing predictive models for its occurrence and outcome of infection.
